Our small business marketing experience
Four years ago we had an idea, this idea was to create marketing solutions for small companies. What we did was start a small business of our own called Busby Junk Removal LLC. In the past three years we have grown from a small time operation, to a major Seattle business pulling in over a half million dollars in revenue a year.
Our junk removal business fully underway, we were able to move back to our original idea of small business marketing. While developing Busby Junk Removal we spent a lot of time learning about how to make our company stand out from the rest and bring in the business. For our company it was not about spending more or working harder, it was about making intelligent decisions on where to put our money. Continuously we were striving to find better more cost effective ways to get our business to the top of our industry.
A lot of our money was invested in web marketing and networking with local businesses. We found that this was the most powerful form of marketing for our company. However if we had owned a pizza chain, we would have used a more direct approach, targeting key surrounding areas with print advertisment.
